Soiling Chamber is designed to mimic the realistic environmental conditions that solar PV coating modules experience in the field related to soiling and humidity /condensation/dew cycling. A samples plate was designed to take up to 100 glass samples per simulation. The samples plate was designed to cool up to -2 degrees Celsius and heat up to 100-degrees Celsius using Peltier and PTC modules. The heat will be extracted from the system using a cooling cycle that includes a radiator and fans. Air nozzle was implemented for dust spraying and cleaning cycles. The chamber was designed to be controlled using Arduino for the automatic mode that controls the heating, cooling, time, and number of cycles for each simulation.
